Human Mucin-15 (MUC15) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Mucin-15 (MUC15) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human Mucin-15 and is supplied for research use only.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity has been assessed across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, while spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (average 92%, range 86–98%) and plasma (average 94%, range 88–100%).

MUC15 is a cell-surface mucin that may play a role in cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix, with aberrant expression linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders and respiratory disease, making the kit relevant to biomarker and signal-transduction research. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, diluents, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealer.
