Human MTPN (Myotrophin) ELISA Kit

Myotrophin (MTPN) is a small cytoplasmic protein of approximately 12 kDa, originally characterized as a stimulator of cardiac protein synthesis and a mediator of hypertrophic signaling in cardiomyocytes. The Assay Genie Human MTPN ELISA kit provides a quantitative immunoassay platform for researchers investigating MTPN expression in human specimens. Beyond cardiac tissue, MTPN is expressed in neural tissue and skeletal muscle, where it participates in ribosomal function and cell differentiation pathways.

Researchers apply this assay to explore mechanisms of cardiac hypertrophy, heart failure progression, and muscle cell development, as well as emerging investigations into neurodegenerative processes where altered MTPN expression has been documented.
