A quantitative colorimetric immunoassay for measuring Myotubularin-related protein 1 (MTMR1) in human samples. MTMR1 is a phosphoinositide 3-phosphatase and a founding member of the myotubularin family, the largest group of lipid phosphatase enzymes in mammals. The enzyme dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate at endosomal membranes and contributes to regulation of membrane trafficking, endosomal sorting, and autophagosome maturation.
