Human MTHFR/Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) in human samples. The colorimetric assay has a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL with a detection range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution ratios for serum (85-101% at 1:2, 81-97% at 1:4, 91-105% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (87-99%, 83-98%, 90-105%), and heparin plasma (84-97%, 81-97%, 86-101%). Spike-and-recovery performance is reported for serum (88-103%, average 98%), EDTA plasma (86-101%, average 95%), and heparin plasma (85-98%, average 98%).

The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and is intended for research use, providing a tool for studying the folate metabolism pathway and conditions linked to MTHFR dysregulation.
