Human MTHFD1L ELISA Kit (HUFI07563)

This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of human MTHFD1L, the mitochondrial monofunctional C1-tetrahydrofolate synthase that supplies formate for cytoplasmic nucleotide biosynthesis during one-carbon folate metabolism. The assay is specific for the human protein and has been applied to studies of colorectal carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and breast tumor tissues, where MTHFD1L expression is altered, as well as to investigations of maternal folate-pathway genetics (including MTHFD1L variants) associated with neural tube defect risk. Researchers can apply this strip-plate immunoassay to cell culture supernatants, tissue lysates, and circulating biofluids to monitor changes in MTHFD1L abundance under different metabolic or pharmacological conditions.
