Assay Genie's Human MRVI1 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of murine retrovirus integration site 1 homolog, an endoplasmic reticulum protein also known as IRAG that serves as a substrate for cGMP-dependent protein kinase I. MRVI1 participates in IP3 receptor-mediated calcium release and smooth muscle relaxation, supporting research in cardiovascular physiology, vascular remodeling, and nitric oxide signaling pathways. The assay detects MRVI1 in human serum and plasma using human-specific antibody pairs with no significant cross-reactivity with rodent homologs.

Each kit includes a 96-well microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, lyophilized MRVI1 standards, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and substrate solution. Unopened kits should be refrigerated at 2-8°C; reconstituted standards are best aliquoted and frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The protocol uses 50 µL of sample per well, follows a sandwich ELISA workflow, and is intended for research use only with results read colorimetrically on a standard plate reader.
