The Human MPP3 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a quantitative immunoassay used to measure endogenous levels of Membrane Palmitoylated Protein 3 (MPP3), a MAGUK (membrane-associated guanylate kinase) family scaffolding protein. MPP3 localizes to epithelial tight junctions where it contributes to cell polarity, junction assembly, and organization of the apical-basal membrane domain. Quantitative measurement of MPP3 supports research in renal tubular physiology, intestinal epithelial barrier biology, and epithelial tumor contexts where altered MAGUK expression has been linked to disrupted cell-cell adhesion.
