This dual-analyte immunoassay from Assay Genie enables simultaneous quantification of JNK phosphorylated at the activating residues threonine 183 and tyrosine 185 (T183/Y185) alongside total JNK protein from the same sample well. The activation loop phosphorylation at T183/Y185 is the canonical marker for JNK enzymatic activity within the stress-activated MAPK signaling cascade, allowing researchers to normalize phospho-JNK levels against total JNK to control for pathway-wide expression changes.

Validated for cross-reactivity across human, mouse, and rat orthologs, the kit supports in vitro cell signaling studies in primary cells, cultured cell lines, and tissue extracts. A typical reaction uses 50 uL of prepared lysate per well, with results read on a standard microplate reader.
