The Human/Mouse/Rat Phospho-GSK3b (S9) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is built on the PharmaGenie phosphorylation-assay platform and quantitatively measures glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta when phosphorylated at the inhibitory serine 9 residue, the modification installed by upstream Akt/PKB and related AGC-family kinases.

Phospho-GSK3β (S9) is a routinely used readout for studies of insulin signaling, Wnt/β-catenin pathway activity, neuronal survival and tau phosphorylation biology, as well as oncology programs where PI3K, Akt, and mTOR inhibitors are profiled for downstream effects. Because the kit detects the endogenous phosphorylated form directly in lysates, it complements total-GSK3β western blots by delivering microplate-scale, quantitative readouts across many treatment conditions.
