The matched phospho and total readout allows normalization for pathway activation studies without needing parallel western blots, and the kit has been validated on lysates from human, mouse, and rat origins.

The capture antibodies are phospho-specific, selectively binding the active, dually-phosphorylated forms of ERK1 and ERK2 generated by MEK1/2 signaling downstream of Ras/Raf activation.
