Quantify endogenous levels of inhibitory CDK1 phosphorylation at tyrosine 15 in cultured mammalian cells with this cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie. The assay interrogates the Y15 residue of cyclin-dependent kinase 1, a regulatory phosphorylation laid down by Wee1 and Myt1 kinases that holds the G2/M checkpoint open until DNA integrity is confirmed. By reading phospho-CDK1 (Y15) directly in fixed cells or in cell and tissue lysates, the kit gives a microplate-compatible alternative to phospho-Western blotting for cell-cycle, mitotic entry, and DNA-damage response studies.

The 96-assay microplate format uses a colorimetric readout and accepts lysates prepared from cultured human, mouse, and rat cells, including standard cell-line and primary-culture workflows. Researchers studying checkpoint recovery, mitotic entry timing, or small-molecule inhibitor effects on CDK1 activity can plate cells, apply treatments, lyse, and read absorbance in a single workflow that mirrors conventional ELISA. Because the cell-based design captures phosphorylation status under near-native cellular conditions rather than relying on denatured, lysate-coated wells, the kit serves in vitro pharmacology, oncology drug-screening, and cell-cycle signaling work for research use only.
