Human, Mouse and Rat Phosphotyrosine iNOS PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1859)

This phosphorylation immunoassay from Assay Genie semi-quantitatively measures tyrosine-phosphorylated inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in cell lysates and tissue lysates, giving researchers a 96-well microplate-based alternative to Western blotting for tracking iNOS activation state. The assay uses a sandwich-based design: an anti-iNOS capture antibody is pre-coated on the plate, and a biotinylated anti-phosphotyrosine detection antibody selectively reports only the tyrosine-phosphorylated form of the protein, so investigators can distinguish activation-driven phosphorylation from basal iNOS expression following cytokine stimulation, pathogen challenge, or pharmacological intervention in macrophages, hepatocytes, and other iNOS-expressing cell types.

Validated reactivity spans human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species comparison in vitro and in preclinical inflammation and nitric oxide biology models. Each kit ships with a pre-coated 96-well strip microplate, biotinylated anti-phosphotyrosine antibody, streptavidin-conjugated HRP, TMB One-Step Substrate, wash buffer, assay diluent, lysis buffer, stop solution, and a positive control sample; the included protocol uses a 100 uL sample volume per well with colorimetric readout. The kit is intended for research use only and is shipped frozen on dry ice; upon receipt it should be stored at -20 °C and used within 6 months from the date of shipment to preserve antibody activity.
