The Phospho-RSK2 (Ser386) ELISA from Assay Genie is a phosphorylation-specific immunoassay that quantitatively measures the activated form of p90 ribosomal S6 kinase 2 (RSK2 / RPS6KA3) in cell lysates and tissue lysates. Ser386 is the C-terminal autophosphorylation site whose modification marks full kinase activation downstream of the Ras/Raf/MEK/ERK cascade, making the kit a useful readout for mitogenic, survival, and differentiation signaling in cancer, neuroscience, and metabolic disease research.

Although reactive across human, mouse, and rat samples, the phospho-specific capture antibody directed against the Ser386 epitope lets investigators distinguish basal from stimulated RSK2 activation following treatment with agonists such as EGF, PDGF, FGF, or PMA.
