This Assay Genie phosphorylation ELISA quantifies phospho-RSK2 (Ser386) alongside total RSK2 from a single lysate preparation, yielding a normalized readout of kinase activation versus total protein abundance across human, mouse, and rat samples.

RSK2 (also known as p90RSK or RPS6KA3) is a serine/threonine kinase operating downstream of the RAS/MAPK cascade. Ser386 sits within its C-terminal autophosphorylation loop, a site that reflects upstream ERK activity, making this phospho-site a reliable indicator in studies of growth factor signaling, oncogenic transformation, and cellular stress responses in cell lysates and tissue lysates.

The microplate accommodates up to 96 determinations per run. Standards, controls, and the detection antibody should be aliquoted and frozen at -20°C upon receipt to preserve activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles; remaining kit components are kept refrigerated.
