The Assay Genie Phospho-PDK1 (Ser241) and Total PDK1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit lets researchers simultaneously quantify PDK1 phosphorylated at the activation-loop residue Ser241 alongside total PDK1 protein from a single lysate preparation. This dual-analyte readout supports studies in cellular metabolism, cancer signaling, and metabolic-disease models, where Ser241 phosphorylation reflects PDK1 catalytic activity toward the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.

The assay has been validated on cell lysates and tissue lysates and is reactive across human, mouse, and rat specimens, supporting cross-species comparisons in translational research. Reagents are supplied as a microplate with breakable well strips, pre-coated capture plates, phospho-specific and pan-PDK1 detection antibodies, TMB substrate solution, and lyophilized standards for standard-curve generation.
