Human Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14 (CD14) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human monocyte differentiation antigen CD14. The assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It recognises both natural and recombinant human CD14 (UniProt: P08571), a GPI-anchored membrane protein that acts as a co-receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharide, mediating the innate immune response and contributing to NF-kappa-B activation and cytokine release.

Quantitative performance is reported with a detection range of 0.25–16 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.125 ng/mL. Precision is documented as an intra-assay CV of 3.3% and an inter-assay CV of 5.8%. The kit is intended for the immunology research area, supporting work on monocyte/macrophage biology, inflammation, and potential biomarkers in conditions such as sepsis, autoimmune disorders and infectious disease.
