Human Monocarboxylate transporter 2 (SLC16A7) ELISA Kit

The target protein is a proton-coupled monocarboxylate transporter that localises to the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein (UniProt O60669). It catalyses the rapid transport of monocarboxylates such as lactate, pyruvate, branched-chain oxo acids derived from leucine, valine and isoleucine, and the ketone bodies acetoacetate, beta-hydroxybutyrate and acetate, and functions as a high-affinity pyruvate transporter.
