Human MOCS2 ELISA Kit (HUFI07601)

The Assay Genie MOCS2 ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of the human molybdenum cofactor synthesis 2 protein for research applications. MOCS2 is a bicistronic gene that produces the MOCS2A and MOCS2B subunits, which together convert cyclic pyranopterin monophosphate (precursor Z) into molybdopterin during molybdenum cofactor assembly.

This colorimetric immunoassay supports investigations into molybdenum cofactor deficiency (MoCD), an autosomal recessive metabolic disorder, as well as studies of sulfite oxidase activity and broader sulfur and purine metabolism pathways. The kit includes the essential reagents for running the procedure on a standard microplate-based ELISA workflow, supplied in a 96-test format intended for routine laboratory use.
