Human MMP24 ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate measurement of Matrix Metalloproteinase 24 (MMP24) in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit is suited to quantifying MMP24 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity in serum (n = 5) is 85–104% at 1:2, 92–97% at 1:4, and 89–105% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n = 5) gives 92–97%, 90–101%, and 83–100% at the same dilutions; heparin plasma (n = 5) gives 83–96%, 83–94%, and 84–100%. Recovery ranges average 93% in serum, 91% in EDTA plasma, and 96% in heparin plasma. Storage is 2–8°C for 12 months.

MMP24 is a matrix metalloproteinase involved in extracellular matrix remodelling and cell migration, and plays roles in tissue repair, inflammation, and cancer metastasis, making it a relevant target for cell biology and related disease research.
