Human MMP10 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative determination of MMP10 (also referenced as MMP-10, SL-2, STMY2, Stromelysin-2 or Transin-2) in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. MMP10 belongs to the peptidase M10A family and is mapped to chromosomal location 11q22.3; it degrades fibronectin and gelatins of types I, III, IV and V, weakly degrades collagens III, IV and V, and activates procollagenase (UniProt: P09238). The assay employs a biotin-conjugated detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Spike-and-recovery testing gave averages of 98% in serum (n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 93% in UFH plasma (n=5), with corresponding recovery ranges of 88-105%, 85-96% and 87-100%. Serial-dilution linearity across the same three matrices fell within 80-105%. Intra-Assay CV is reported as <8% and Inter-Assay CV as <10%. Reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months.
