Human MMP-16 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie comes a sandwich ELISA (double antibody) designed for the quantitative measurement of human MMP-16, also known as matrix metalloproteinase-16. MMP-16 is described as a key enzyme involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and cell migration, with dysregulation linked to pathological conditions including cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular diseases.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with the kit stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Validated linearity for serum ranges from 85-105% across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, with EDTA plasma at 82-101% and heparin plasma at 81-100%.
