Human MMP-1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0894)

Matrix metalloproteinase 1 (MMP-1), also called interstitial collagenase, is a zinc-dependent endopeptidase that initiates the breakdown of fibrillar collagens (types I, II, and III) and drives extracellular matrix remodeling in connective tissue. The Assay Genie MMP-1 immunoassay is configured as a quantitative two-antibody ELISA on a 96-assay microplate, calibrated for human reactivity, and applied in research on wound healing, tumor cell invasion, arthritic cartilage erosion, periodontal disease, pulmonary fibrosis, and inflammatory skin conditions.

The kit accommodates multiple input matrices, including cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, plasma specimens, serum specimens, and tissue lysates, which lets a single workflow span in vitro cell-based experiments and ex vivo tissue or specimen analyses. Each run uses standard micropipettes and a microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance in the visible range, and the kit supplies a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant standards, and assay buffers sufficient for one full microplate.
