Human MLC2/MYL9 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a double-antibody assay for the quantitative measurement of human myosin light chain 2 (MLC2/MYL9). The kit detects MLC2/MYL9 with a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL across a standard range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, and is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

MLC2/MYL9, also known as myosin light chain 2, participates in muscle contraction and cell movement, with reported roles in muscle function and development. Dysregulation has been associated with cardiac disorders, muscular dystrophy, and cancer, supporting its value as a biomarker in related research.

Assay components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity for EDTA plasma spans 87-101% across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, while heparin plasma linearity spans 80-98%; recovery averages 94% for EDTA plasma and 91% for heparin plasma.
