Human Mitochondrial Rho GTPase 1 (RHOT1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Mitochondrial Rho GTPase 1 (RHOT1) in human samples. RHOT1, also referred to as MIRO-1, ARHT1, Rac-GTP-binding protein-like protein, and Ras homolog gene family member T1, is a mitochondrial GTPase implicated in mitochondrial trafficking and the anterograde transport of mitochondria. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay demonstrates a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.323ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 7.4% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Recovery in serum averages 96% (range 90-102%) and in plasma averages 98% (range 92-104%). Linearity has been evaluated across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Mitochondrial Rho GTPase 1 (UniProt Q8IXI2), and the target protein is localised to the mitochondrion outer membrane as a single-pass type IV membrane protein, where it colocalises with MGARP and RHOT2. Detection is performed by ELISA using a colorimetric method.
