Chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie delivers strong analytical sensitivity over conventional colorimetric ELISA, enabling precise quantification of CCL4 (MIP-1β) in low-abundance samples. The 96-well microplate format supports a full standard curve plus multiple replicates, and the assay is calibrated against recombinant human MIP-1β with results reported in pg/mL.

MIP-1β (macrophage inflammatory protein-1 beta, also called CCL4) is a CC-family chemokine secreted by activated macrophages, lymphocytes, and endothelial cells. It recruits monocytes, dendritic cells, NK cells, and T lymphocytes through CCR5 binding and is implicated in inflammatory cascades, viral pathogenesis, and tumor microenvironment studies. Researchers investigating HIV co-receptor interactions, autoimmune disease, and cytokine profiling frequently measure CCL4 in serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatants.

The kit includes pre-coated microplate strips, lyophilized standards, detection antibodies, and assay buffers. Store all components at 2-8 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen. The protocol typically requires 100 µL of sample per well with a total incubation window of roughly 3-4 hours, providing same-day data for in vitro research use only.
