Human MIF ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of Human MIF (Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. MIF is a lymphokine involved in cell-mediated immunity, immunoregulation, and inflammation, and it plays a role in regulating macrophage function in host defense through the suppression of anti-inflammatory effects of glucocorticoids.

The assay uses a colorimetric double-antibody sandwich detection method and is reactive with human samples only. It offers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. The kit is intended for Research Use Only and is stored at 4°C for 6 months. Reported precision is CV<8% intra-assay and CV<10% inter-assay.
