Human Midkine (MDK) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Midkine (MDK) in human samples, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie supports research into a developmentally regulated, secreted growth factor homologous to pleiotrophin. The assay reports a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 30pg/mL. Precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (N=5 each) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with serum spanning 86-120%, EDTA plasma 92-111%, and heparin plasma 94-115%. Recovery averaged 97% (range 91-103%) in serum and 99% (range 93-105%) in plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Midkine.
