Human Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (MAPRE1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich-format ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of human Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (MAPRE1). The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

MAPRE1, also known as End Binding Protein 1 (EB1) or APC-binding protein EB1, is a key player in microtubule dynamics and cell division, and is essential for cell migration, intracellular transport, and maintaining cell shape. The protein binds to the plus end of microtubules and regulates the dynamics of the microtubule cytoskeleton, promotes cytoplasmic microtubule nucleation and elongation, and may be involved in spindle function by stabilizing microtubules and anchoring them at centrosomes.

The assay provides a detection range of 0.156–10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.089ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 7.3% and an inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. Recovery is 90% (range 84–96%) in serum and 92% (range 86–98%) in plasma. The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human MAPRE1 (UniProt Q15691).
