Human Microseminoprotein Beta (MSMb) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this microplate-based immunoassay kit is built around the well-characterized MSMb protein, also known as PSP94 (prostate secretory protein of 94 amino acids), a roughly 10 kDa cysteine-rich secretory protein originally isolated from human seminal plasma. MSMb has been studied extensively as a candidate biomarker in prostate cancer screening and prognosis, as well as in male infertility and reproductive tract research, where its abundance in seminal fluid and differential expression in tumour tissue make it a useful analyte. The plate is pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody that shows no significant cross-reactivity with rat or mouse MSMb homologs, and each assay uses a 50 uL sample volume per well. Unopened reagents should be refrigerated, while reconstituted standards are best aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw loss; all components are intended for research use only.
