Human Microalbuminuria (MAU) ELISA Kit

Microalbuminuria is an important marker for kidney damage and is commonly associated with conditions such as diabetes and hypertension; monitoring microalbumin levels can aid in the early detection and management of kidney disease, making the kit a valuable tool for studies of renal health and related disorders.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Performance specifications include a detection range of 12.5-800 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 3.12 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.0% and an inter-assay CV of 5.4%. Recovery averages 85% for serum (range 80-91%) and 87% for plasma (range 81-93%). Specificity is for natural and recombinant human Microalbuminuria. For research use only.

Based on the Sandwich-ELISA principle, the protocol involves adding samples to pre-coated wells where the target binds the immobilized antibody, followed by incubation with detection reagent working solutions, washing, and exposure to substrate solution. After a final incubation, stop solution is added and the optical density is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.
