Human MICA ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit designed for the quantitative measurement of human MICA using a colorimetric readout. The assay uses pre-coated capture antibody wells with a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin signal amplification, producing a TMB-derived colour change that is read at 450 nm.

Reactivity is human, with a reported sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions ranges between approximately 80% and 105%, with average recovery in the same matrices of 96–98%.

Reagents are shipped on ice packs. Components including the microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, and plate sealer are stored at 2–8°C, with the microplate and lyophilised standard additionally suitable for storage at –20°C. The standard workflow comprises loading samples and standards with 90 minutes of incubation at 37°C, biotinylated antibody binding for 60 minutes, SABC binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
