The Mind Bomb 1 quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables researchers to measure E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MIB1 in human-derived samples using a microplate format kit configured for research use only. MIB1 is a critical regulator of Notch receptor activation, catalysing ubiquitination of the intracellular domains of Delta and Jagged ligands to permit ligand endocytosis and productive Notch signal transduction. Because MIB1 sits at the gateway of canonical Notch pathway activation, quantifying its expression supports studies in developmental biology, immunology, haematopoiesis, and cancer cell biology.

The assay provides reagents sufficient for 96 individual determinations arranged on a standard microplate strip frame. The procedure follows a conventional quantitative immunoassay workflow, and absorbance values are read on a standard microplate reader equipped with the appropriate filter. Capture antibody is pre-immobilised on the plate, and the workflow uses a biotinylated detection reagent paired with a streptavidin-enzyme conjugate for signal generation.

Active research areas that benefit from accurate MIB1 protein measurement include hematopoietic stem cell maintenance, T-cell lineage commitment, cardiomyocyte differentiation, glioblastoma cell behaviour, and tumour Notch-pathway activation studies. Storage and handling guidance for the supplied components, including lyophilised standards, buffered diluents, and pre-coated microplate wells, is detailed in the lot-specific certificate of analysis included with the kit.
