Human MHCE/HLA-E/Major Histocompatibility Complex Class I E ELISA Kit

HLA-E (also called MHCE) is a non-classical major histocompatibility complex class I molecule that displays conserved leader peptides from classical MHC-I proteins to CD94/NKG2 receptors on natural killer cells and certain CD8+ T lymphocytes. This pathway regulates innate cytotoxic restraint, and quantitative HLA-E measurement is therefore a valuable tool in transplantation immunology, viral immune evasion studies, tumor immune escape research, and investigations of maternal-fetal tolerance.

This Assay Genie kit supports plate-based workflows for measuring human HLA-E in serum or plasma samples. The assay uses 100 µL of sample per well and produces a measurable chromogenic signal on a standard microplate reader. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against rodent orthologs. Reagents are supplied for a full microplate run and should be refrigerated on arrival; the kit is intended for research use only.
