Mitochondrial fission factor (MFF) is a key regulatory protein anchored in the outer mitochondrial membrane, where it recruits the GTPase dynamin-related protein 1 (DRP1) to drive membrane scission and mitochondrial fragmentation. The Human MFF ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of MFF protein levels in human-derived samples, supporting research into neurodegeneration, type 2 diabetes, cardiac dysfunction, and cancer biology where altered mitochondrial dynamics play a central role.

This microplate-format immunoassay uses a matched antibody pair approach and produces absorbance readings suitable for standard curve-based quantification against purified MFF standards. Applications include studies of Parkin-dependent mitophagy, PTEN-induced kinase signaling, apoptosis pathways, oxidative stress responses, and mitochondrial dysfunction in metabolic and neurodegenerative disease models.
