Human Meteorin-like protein/METRNL ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit (Double Antibody) is intended for the quantitative measurement of Meteorin-like protein/METRNL in human samples. The kit supports research into the role of Metrnl in metabolism regulation, inflammation and energy homeostasis.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity values are: serum 85-105% at 1:2, 87-96% at 1:4, 87-95% at 1:8; EDTA plasma 82-98%, 87-100%, 83-101%; heparin plasma 84-99%, 83-92%, 81-100%. Reported average spike-and-recovery is 92% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma.

The workflow uses a pre-coated capture antibody, a biotin-conjugated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Standard/sample incubation is 90 minutes at 37°C, biotinylated antibody incubation 60 minutes at 37°C, SABC incubation 30 minutes at 37°C, and TMB colour development 10-20 minutes protected from light.
