Human Meteorin-like/METRNL ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Meteorin-like/METRNL ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of human Meteorin-like protein (Metrnl). The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity was demonstrated across serum (87–98% at 1:2, 90–101% at 1:4, 95–103% at 1:8; n = 5), EDTA plasma (85–99%, 83–95%, 92–101%; n = 5), and heparin plasma (82–92%, 82–101%, 83–93%; n = 5). Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% for serum (range 88–102%, n = 5), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 85–102%, n = 5), and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–99%, n = 5). Detection is colorimetric, with TMB substrate development and absorbance read at 450 nm.
