Human Metaxin-3/MTX3 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a Double Antibody assay, is designed for the quantitative measurement of metaxin-3 (MTX3) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Supplied reagents include a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate SABC (100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard also suitable for storage at -20°C for 12 months. Validated linearity (n = 5) falls within 96-104% (1:2), 88-105% (1:4) and 83-98% (1:8) for serum; 81-95%, 90-98% and 84-100% for EDTA plasma; and 85-96%, 82-98% and 86-100% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranges are 85-104% (average 95%) in serum, 85-104% (average 93%) in EDTA plasma, and 89-104% (average 92%) in heparin plasma.

The six-step procedure covers reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and stop reaction with absorbance reading at 450 nm. Sample preparation guidance is provided for serum (clot, 1000 × g for 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tubes, 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2-8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm for 5 minutes), and cell lysate.
