Human Metallothionein/MT ELISA Kit

The colorimetric, double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format delivers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Metallothionein is a key protein involved in metal homeostasis and detoxification, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metal poisoning, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential treatment strategies.

Performance characteristics include linearity ranges of 80-105% for serum, 84-104% for EDTA plasma, and 81-100% for heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with average recovery values of 90% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma), and 97% (heparin plasma). The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The assay workflow includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, 60-minute detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
