Human Metallothionein-1E (MT1E) ELISA Kit

Recovery has been evaluated, with serum showing an average recovery of 88% (range 82-94%) and plasma an average of 90% (range 84-96%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Metallothionein-1E, which exists as a monomer of 6,014 Da (UniProt P04732).

Metallothionein-1E is a cysteine-rich carrier protein involved in heavy metal binding and is transcriptionally regulated by heavy metals and glucocorticoids.
