Human Mesothelin ELISA Kit

Designed and supplied by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is configured as a double-antibody assay for the quantitative measurement of human mesothelin. It targets mesothelin, a cell surface glycoprotein also known by the synonym C-ERC, and is intended for use with samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples of human origin.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL, supporting detection of low-abundance analyte. Because mesothelin is overexpressed in certain cancers such as mesothelioma and ovarian cancer, the kit is suited to oncology research applications where accurate quantification of mesothelin levels can inform studies of disease biology and therapeutic development. Reagents should be stored at 2–8 °C, where components remain stable for up to 12 months. The assay follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow incorporating biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin signal amplification and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
