Human Meprin A subunit alpha (MEP1A) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Meprin A subunit alpha (MEP1A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a reported detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL.

Reported precision values are 3.5% intra-assay CV and 5.9% inter-assay CV. Linearity data cover serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum samples ranging 88–120%, EDTA plasma 89–110% and heparin plasma 94–122%. Recovery is documented as 94–106% for serum (average 100%) and 96–108% for plasma (average 102%). Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human Meprin A subunit alpha.

MEP1A, a member of the peptidase M12A family, is implicated in tissue remodeling, inflammation and wound healing, with dysregulation linked to fibrosis, cardiovascular disease and inflammatory disorders. The kit is intended for research use only.
