Human Meprin A Alpha (MEP1a) ELISA Kit

The Meprin A Alpha subunit (MEP1a) is a zinc-dependent metalloproteinase of the astacin family that cleaves a broad spectrum of substrates, including pro-inflammatory cytokines and components of the extracellular matrix. Active MEP1a is implicated in renal fibrosis, neuroinflammation, and tumor-microenvironment remodeling, making accurate quantification of the protease valuable for in vitro and biomarker research.

This antibody-pair-based ELISA from Assay Genie uses a human-specific capture antibody and is intended for quantitative measurement of native MEP1a in cell culture supernatants and tissue homogenates.
