Human Membrane Spanning 4 Domains Subfamily A, Member 1 (MS4A1) ELISA Kit

The assay targets MS4A1, also designated CD20, a non-glycosylated transmembrane phosphoprotein weighing approximately 33-37 kDa that is expressed on the surface of B-lymphocytes from the pre-B through mature B-cell stages. Because MS4A1 is lost upon terminal differentiation into plasma cells, this kit is commonly used by immunology and hematology laboratories to study B-cell maturation, lymphoma research, and autoimmune disease models. The capture antibody is human-specific, and the assay is appropriate for studies of therapeutic monoclonal antibody mechanisms such as rituximab-mediated B-cell depletion.
