Human Membrane cofactor protein (CD46) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Membrane cofactor protein (CD46) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and is intended for research use only.

The assay detects natural and recombinant human CD46 with a stated detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Spike-and-recovery performance in serum averaged 94% (range 88-100%) and in plasma averaged 96% (range 90-102%). Dilution linearity has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at serial sample dilutions.

CD46, also referred to by the synonyms TLX, Trophoblast leukocyte common antigen, MCP and MIC10, is a complement regulatory protein relevant to immunological research, including work on autoimmune and complement-mediated disease.
