Human Melanoma Cell Adhesion Molecule (MCAM) ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of human Melanoma Cell Adhesion Molecule (MCAM, also designated CD146), a transmembrane glycoprotein implicated in tumor progression, angiogenesis, and endothelial signaling pathways.

The 96-assay kit is intended for research use only and supports studies in oncology, vascular biology, and mesenchymal stem cell characterization. Compatible sample inputs include serum specimens, plasma-derived preparations, tissue homogenates, and other related sample matrices. Readouts are obtained colorimetrically on a standard microplate reader, and the human-reactive assay is calibrated against recombinant and native MCAM protein.

Each kit ships with pre-coated microplate wells, detection reagents, recombinant standards, and assay buffers sufficient for 96 determinations. Reagents should be stored refrigerated per the package insert, and the kit should be protected from light to preserve reagent stability.
