Human Melanin-concentrating hormone receptor 1/MCHR1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Melanin-Concentrating Hormone Receptor 1 (MCHR1), this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric, double-antibody detection method. MCHR1 is a receptor involved in the regulation of feeding behaviour and energy homeostasis, making it a key target for studying appetite control, obesity, metabolic disorders and related conditions.

The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 is reported for serum (86–105%), EDTA plasma (82–100%) and heparin plasma (80–100%), and spiked-recovery averages range from 91% to 97% across the same matrices. All kit reagents are stored at 2–8°C, with a stated shelf-life of 12 months under those conditions.
