Human MED31 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers this sandwich ELISA for the quantitative detection of MED31 in human samples. Designed as a double-antibody sandwich immunoassay, the kit targets MED31 (Mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 31), a component of the Mediator complex involved in regulating gene expression and transcription. Dysregulation of MED31 has been linked to cancer and developmental disorders, making it a marker of research interest in epigenetics and nuclear signalling.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) ranges from 87–104% at 1:2, 85–97% at 1:4, and 81–97% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 87–101%, 85–98%, and 81–99% across the same dilutions; heparin plasma (n=5) shows 89–103%, 85–100%, and 84–100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 92% for serum, 92% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Storage is recommended at 2–8°C for 12 months. The kit includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
