Human MCTS1/Malignant T cell amplified sequence 1 ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human MCTS1 (Malignant T-Cell Amplified Sequence 1; UniProt Q9ULC4) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. MCTS1 is described as a vital protein implicated in T-cell lymphoma and leukemia, playing a role in cancer development and progression, and the kit is grouped under the cell cycle research area. Synonyms listed for the target include MCT1, SLC16A1, HHF7, MCT-1 and Multiple Copies T-Cell Malignancies.

Reported performance: sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL with a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) was 88–102%, 85–104% and 94–103% in serum; 82–97%, 83–95% and 85–101% in EDTA plasma; and 80–97%, 81–95% and 81–98% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery gave averages of 96% in serum (range 86–103%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 89–105%) and 93% in heparin plasma (range 86–104%). Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The protocol proceeds through reagent and plate preparation, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop step with absorbance read at 450 nm.
