Human MCP-1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

Designed for immunology research in pharmaceutical and biotech settings, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human MCP-1 (also known as CCL2, SCYA-2 or JE). The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, buffered solutions and other body fluids.

Key performance specifications include an assay range of 31.25 pg/ml to 1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.8 pg/ml, with standards calibrated to NIBSC. The protocol uses pre-coated plates and requires a total incubation of 2h15, with a sample size of 100 µl (50 µl for serum/plasma). The optimised monoclonal antibody pair recognises both natural and recombinant human MCP-1, and no cross-reactivity has been observed with other cytokines tested. All reagents are validated according to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems.
