The MCM8 protein is a member of the minichromosome maintenance family that participates in DNA replication fork progression and homologous recombination repair. Quantifying MCM8 levels in clinical and laboratory samples supports research into genomic instability, premature ovarian failure, ovarian and breast cancer susceptibility, and broader DNA damage response studies. This in vitro immunoassay from Assay Genie is configured for the quantitative measurement of human MCM8 in research samples, supplied as a complete kit sufficient for 96 determinations per plate run. Capture antibody, standards, and detection reagents are formatted for standard microplate workflows using a microplate reader, and the protocol accommodates small sample volumes appropriate for limited biopsy or biobank specimens. All reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival, protected from light, and equilibrated to room temperature before running the assay.
